'TIGER' SHOT DEAD IN PORTMORE

A 53-year-old man was shot and killed by gunmen at Marie Avenue, Edgewater, Portmore, St Catherine last night. Dead is Michael McNeish otherwise called 'Tiger' of Maureen Crescent, Edgewater.

Police said about 9:30 pm, McNeish was at Marie Crescent when a Honda Airwave motor car registered 5831 FH and a red VW Golf drove up. Three men alighted from the vehicles, approached McNeish and following a brief conversation, one of them pulled a gun and shot him repeatedly, killing him on spot.

The men then returned to the vehicles and drove away.

Detectives assigned to the case are appealing to anyone who has information about the killers or their whereabouts to contact 949-8431, Crime Stop at 311, Kingfish at 811, police 119 emergency numbers or the nearest police station.
