The case involving a 21-year-old Portmore resident who is charged with sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl is to go to preliminary trial on January 28. The date was set when the man who is charged with rape and abduction appeared in the Spanish Town Resident Magistrate's Court Wednesday. On September 13 the accused and the complainant were talking at his gate. The man allegedly forced the girl inside his house and sexually assaulted her. When she was released, the girl recounted the incident to a family member who called the police. The man was then arrested and charged.
