  • Mosquito Infestation

    Can someone answer the question ...
    What's the story with all these mosquitoes?  Clearly there's a serious problem in Portmore.  What if any plan is there to deal with the problem in the long run?  Is it that we just hope to 'build out' in order to cover all the green areas with concrete?

    Spraying / fogging appears to be a short term solution to the problem, let me rephrase, "spraying / fogging appears to be a short term problem to the problem".  Public education maybe the long term solution with a budget problem.

    Is it that we need another mosquito borne disease before we bring it back on the agenda.

    Someone let me know what's going on and how we can help ...

  • What's the word on Portmore's Hospital?

    In May Last year (2009).  There was a signing with an organization called CayJam about the construction of the "Portmore International Hospital and Medical Center".  The website (http://cayjam.com) has attempted to answer a couple of questions with their document:  CayJam's Q&A about Portmore International Hospital.

    They also displayed their progress on their website.  It makes interesting reading.  I'd love to see an update of this document.  Activities to date
